Pecans:
Take 1 cup of pecan halves and drizzle with 3 tbsp of Seldom Seen maple syrup and 1/2 tsp of sea salt. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place pecans on sheet and drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove, toss in a bowl to make sure pecans are well coated. Cool. After cooking take 1/4 cup of pecans and chop for cinnamon rolls. Save the rest to nibble on.
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp of butter
1/4 cup Seldom Seen Maple Syrup
3 tbsp of rye whiskey
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add sugar, maple syrup and bourbon and whisk until smooth.
Bake cinnamon rolls. Pour glaze over cinnamon rolls and sprinkle with pecans.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup of Seldom Seen maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsps baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup Seldom Seen maple sugar for decoration
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add the egg, maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir into mixture until well blended. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheets about 2 inches apart and flatten slightly.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon
4 oz. Apple Cider
2 tbsp of Pumpkin Puree
1.5 oz. of our Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
2 Shakes of Pumpkin Spice
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Cane Sugar for Rim of Glass if Desired
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and give it a shake. Pour in a glass with sugar on the rim and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick. Cheers!
Lemon Smash
Muddle 5 mint leaves and 1 oz. of lemon juice in a shaker. Add Ince, 1.5 oz. of bourbon, and 1 oz. of our bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. Shake and pour over ice.
Baby Bear
1.5 oz. whiskey or bourbon, 1/2 oz. of our bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, 1.5 oz. of milk, and a dash of cinnamon. Shake and serve over ice.
Maple Sour
1.5 oz. bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, 1 oz. lemon juice, and 1 oz. maple bourbon. Pour over ice and stir.
Maple Old Fashioned
In rocks glass, muddle orange peel, 1 oz. of our bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, and 3 shakes of chickory pecan bitters. Add large ice ball or cube, pour 2 oz. of bourbon. Garnish with a cocktail cherry. Regular ice can be used if needed.
